WOW - I cannot believe I haven't thrown any words on here in so long. However - the truth of the reason is that my little agency has been too busy!
Travel and tourism came back hard hard hard and shows no signs of letting up. This brings lots of variables as I am sure all of you traveling or considering traveling, already know - pricing and availability are reflective of the numbers. In the past when we would encourage people to plan ahead, book as soon as you are comfortable with your package, book your air, book your excursions - all asap - we would sound like we were high sales high pressure. This is simply farthest from the truth presently. I am unapologetic if options are gone when clients come back after a quote has been sent with "time sensitive" all over it. There isn't a Travel Advisor that would not tell you their #1 request for their client relationship = Please Please Please Read your documents! We take so much time and spend much of our income on resources, to not just write and send that email, but securing the knowledge and expertise to "fill" that email with all that will help 'you' have the best experience we can organize for you, aside of course from the unforeseen that exists in all travel. 2023 was FULL of travel for me, all trips had a biz component as most trips do for agency owners, lots of joy, memories and experiences were had to fill my personal Travel Life List. South Africa - This was a FAM (familiarization trip) but Rob was able to travel with me. It was wonderful, this country has so much to offer - full robust cities, lovely National Parks, a spectacular and yummy wine region and of course the game lodges and drives. Disney Cruise - Wes' birthday celebration with Mickey! We are Disney lovers so no more to say - it was great! France & Italy with my lady group - always so much fun and very packed itineraries to cover as much as we can for the time and investment. Tropical destinations - St. Lucia and St. John, we love the island vibe, we get off the main streets and hang with the locals and basically do pool and beach time. Las Vegas for a Conference, as a LV Destination Specialist I am always ready to get my Vegas on! Ireland FAM - Yup, it is like Oregon in scenery and climate, loved it so very much! I want to go back 100%, the week was way too short. So, I'll get back at it and say that my business is here, thriving beyond all imagination and when you need travel planning assistance, think of us. Cyndi |
